Kronplatz: South Tyrols ski-region no. 1

2,275 m above sea level, all around panoramic view, more than 100 km of perfectly prepared ski runs from very easy to premium difficult, including some nearly endless valley runs down to three villages, modern lift facilities, rustic ski huts and a long winter season lasting from the end of November to April… The facts of Kronplatz have promise!

The ski-region on the local mountain of Bruneck is considered as the best and most popular one throughout South Tyrol. Beginners can try their first turns on sunny rolling hills, while pros speed down on precipitous black slopes such as Silvester and Hernegg.

For snowboarders and freeriders there is prepared a spacious snow park with all kinds of rails, boxes and jumps and even the very small “skiing dwarfs” there are available suitable offers.

All ski trails are optimally groomed through the whole season thanks to countless snow cannons and hard-working snowmaking machines. In the villages down in the valleys there are running partly free ski buses, which bring skiers directly to the cable cars. Not to forget about the enjoyable après-ski and the thrilling events such as the notable “Lockn Festival”.

And what happens when the winter is over? During the summer month Mt. Kronplatz attracts hikers and alpinists as well as mountain bikers and downhillers.
